First you take 1 coin from the first bag, 2 coins from the second bag, 3 coins from the third bag... and so on ... and finally 10 coins from the
tenth bag. Now weigh those 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 = 55 coins. If all those coins would weigh 1 lbs, the 55 coins would've weighed 55 lbs total.
Since there's 1 bag with coins that weigh 1 lbs - 1 oz each it will be less than 55 lbs.
Subtract the actual weight (of those 55 coins) from 55 and check the difference in mass in oz (what's oz anyway? o_o).
if it's a difference of 1 oz, it means that 1 coin weighed something different and thus bag 1 contained the false coins.
if it's a difference of 2 oz, ... etc.
